Happy with a Fully Loaded Schedule

Few hours ago I synced my final schedule to my iPhone 3G and wow.. I am fully loaded from family affairs to internships this summer. This week will be productive because sunday is father's day and my brother and I will have shop to get him something. Whatever it is, I will leave it to us. Haha.

I am also excited this week because iPhone 3.0 software will be release on wednesday. It will definitely improve my iPhone 3G so much. Yes, thanks Apple. My iPhone 3G is my life and I can't live without it.

Anyways,

I always keep my family affairs private as possible (unless I want to share it or something) so mostly I will be discussing my internships here. As a public servant, I am ready to take this challenge to serve others. I told my co-workers I am a public servant so dealing with people is not a problem. I been interning since March so going back to work is also not a problem. I do miss serving, working, learning in politics. When summer ends, I definitely love to extend my knowledge in politics and public service. Probably join an organization.

I am happy with a fully loaded schedule because I put myself in good use.
"Go Green" Tip: Landscape with native plants. Native plants typically cost less, use less water, and are easier to care for. Plus, your yard will look right at home.

Out with luxury goods.. FOR NOW.

Visiting luxury online websites makes me wanna say "wow, why is this bag so expensive. Is it because of the quality?". Oh please, I can find the same exact bag in a cheaper price. I won't deny the fact I have taste for luxury goods, I have many Coach bags for every occassion (one is for school; my gold tote). Other than that, I have my tech stuff which I don't know if its luxury or not? Wait.. Sony is a luxury good because of the price and quality. So yeah, I own a Sony Vaio TZ. My cellphone is an iPhone 3G and its "luxurious" on its own way. I use it everyday from scheduling to reading newspapers (aka my LIFE).

While browsing to some luxury goods online I always ask myself, "do I really need this, if so, where and why?" Few hours ago I finalize my decision not to purchase an iPhone 3GS because I don't really need it. I have an iPhone 3G and its exactly the same except for the video, speed, and punch of stuff. If there is something I need to do and my iPhone 3G cannot provide it then its time for me to buy an iPhone 3GS.

My number one goal this summer is to save money. I am happy to say I achieve (and still) my goal. I'm the kind of person who saves money than use on something I regret afterwards. It is not a joke to save money especially if you really want that item for pleasure. So, all I do is ask or tell myself, "do I really need this?" and "this item is the cost of my books, food, etc". It works all the time.

Out with luxury goods for now because my goal is to save. Maybe someday if I have all the things I need in life.

TECH!

I am a tech person but writing it here is not a good idea. Haha, I personally think my tech stuff is part of my life and it should be private. YEAH RIGHT.

Anyways..

Yesterday I watched the Apple WWDC 2009 and very much impressed with their presentation. I loved the new iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3.0 software, and 13inch Macbook Pro. I will not mention Mac Snow Leopard because I am not a Mac user. the iPhone 3GS taught my eyes because it seems fast and more reliable (Compass and stuff). My brother didn't watch the event with me but he is EAGER to the buy the iPhone 3GS. Haha, I also consider buying the iPhone 3GS but will let my brother buy it first so I can personally review it and ask myself if I need it.

iPhone 3.0 software is a must for iPhone users because it fixes some problems and improved the phone.. The best part is its FREE (except for iPhone Touch users). Lastly, 13inch Macbook Pro, I love the fact its small! Older models of Macbook Pro are 15-17inch and I know how heavy it is for someone like me.

Overall, Great job Apple! I am very impress..

Oh, JUNE!

Today is the first week of June and second month of my Summer. Wohoo, I am very happy to say that I never set a foot or drive by my college since I want to be college-free this summer. Haha, maybe I will if I visit my cousin's house because they are so close to it. I don't have summer classes (that's a good thing) so I have more time to spend time with my family and concentrate in my internship and other priorities.

This month I also want to concentrate in the environment and do something in the community. I already contacted those people and they know I am interested. Just hope I will push myself in their programs. I am a passionate environmentalist so doing this tasks are priceless and "easy". Also, this month I want to spend time with my family since I didn't had a chance to do so because of my college schedule. Later, I told my mom we go shopping(?) on The Forum Shop at Caesar's Palace (my favorite shopping place) and talk about random things. I miss my mom as a bestfriend.

Looking at my calendar, I need to renew my National Geographic Magazine Subscription and watch new episodes of "The Goode Family". Unfortunaly, I wasn't able to catch six minutes of "The Goode Family" so I have to re-watch it again in their official website. My National Geographic Magazine Subscription will be taken care off next week since I have until November to renew it.

I am expecting June to be a productive month because I want to make most of my summer before Fall starts. Besides, I also want to learn while having fun (referring to my internship and other priorities).

Peacefulness

I am currently typing this in my room with no lights at 10:21am. It is so nice to experience peacefulness and appreciation to the environment. I am also an environmentalist so saving energy is one of my top priorities. Which reminds me, before Spring Semester ended I went to our college bookstore and saw some "Green" Bags. I was soo excited I began holding it and looking back everytime I move away from the "bags" section. I will definitely bring it when Fall Semester starts. Better yet, use it as much as I can.

Being in my room didn't hesitate to let me write here because I have some thoughts I could love to share. First, I am proud to say I achieve my top goal this summer, "saving". I haven't brought a single item since summer started. And I am so damn proud of it. Second, last night my brother and I joked to spend summer together in a wonderful hotel again. Hehe, I even teased him that I will pay half of it. As if, he will not agree. It is his plan so he should pay for the whole thing. Which I careless, because when it comes to my family, money is nothing. Third, I am excited this coming semester because ALL my classes are related to my major. Wohoo, finally! I can't wait to start some changes in this country and dedicate myself to public service.

Peace always make me think about my future so I am glad this day has come

Summer

Typing this at 3:41am makes me sleepy and my head hurts randomly. Oh well, it's summer so sleeping really late is no problem.

Since Spring 2009 ended, I been sleeping late for no reasons. I don't know, maybe its my nature to not sleep early because I have no priorities the following day or simply.. I am not sleepy. Haha. Oh well, as long as it doesn't interfere with my daily activities I have no problem with it. Summer is simple and relaxing for the past weeks because I regularly stay at home; surfing the net in my room. Besides, I don't want to go outside much because I'm afraid I will spend something I don't need.. Umm, planning to buy this bag soon for my Fall 2009 semester. When it comes to bag, I regularly go to my mother to ask what is the best branded bag she could recommend me and her answer is always this. It's probably because she owns some bag and (not or) adores it so much. Do not worry mommy, even I adore it.

With recession and all, I have to save money so.. the "branded" side of me needs to shut down. As if, I am right? When it comes to stuff I always go with simple yet elegant designs. I buy branded stuff but not that expensive comparing to my mother's bags.

This summer my priority is to save as much as I can. That's why tomorrow I am heading to the bank to check my balance and do some transactions. I am a wise banker like my father. Hehe. My father actually told me I am a weak spender but a strong saver because I only buy stuffs I need. I agree, that's why this bag needs to say bye-bye to my debit card and me because I am not buying it. Argh! Who needs a bag since I already have one that is more simple and elegant. The bag I used for Spring 2009 is the only bag I will use this coming Fall 2009. Haha, let's see if I can stand by with my "bag" decision. HOWEVER, I also believe that if you have money why not buy it. But I guess it only applies to someone who really has a lot of money to spend and CAN get/earn it back in a month or so.

Oh well, at least my TOP priority this summer is to SAVE MONEY!

Comfort Zone

Summer is a good season to create/be with my comfort zone. I don't need to wake up in the morning, get ready for college, schedule things, etc etc etc. All I have to do is.. Wake up, watch television, use my laptop, and relax. I am now officially in my comfort zone. But, its just temporary because this week I have an internship and commitments.

I also need to read a book to gain knowledge about my financial life, haha. Probably read it after my internship. I actually start reading few pages during my college life but stop because I have final examinations. So, now its a time to schedule my reading commitments. Also, also.. MAY is a an important month in my life because its my father's birthday!. Wohoo, thanks father for everything! We LOVE you. Whatever my gift for him, it's a private matter. Haha.

Anyways, going back to "Comfort Zone". I feel so relax being in my yellowish room because I can do whatever I want without interferance. No college class telling me to dress up and get ready. Wohoo, I can walk around with my pajama and noone will care.

As of now, I am happy with my "Comfort Zone"

Summer!

It's officially Summer! Wohoo!

Even fun is just around the corner, I still have work to do such as internship, volunteering, and commitments. Like yesterday, I officially accepted the position of "Environmental Director" in Clean World Movement. I was accepted last month but couldn't take the commitment because of college work. Now, I am ready to take this challenge! As of now, I am trying to contact fellow Environmental Directors in Las Vegas so we can organize things as a group (which is a lot better!). My internship is doing great! It's nice to see everybody after missing three weeks (once a week) work. I hope the Intern Party will push through so I can meet follow Interns. Volunteering? I emailed back a women's rights movement and hopefully.. Be able to volunteer there.

Let's see. This is only DAY ONE of Summer so whatever happens,I hope for the best.

Final Examinations

Tomorrow and this weekend is about studying. Gosh, I need to schedule my study sessions after typing this entry.

My PSC302 friends want to schedule a weekend study session so I will be in the college's library either Saturday or Sunday. They are the best. I won't survive the whole semester without them because they entertain me with laughter and jokes. You know who you are. My PSC302 teacher also announced this afternoon that there will be another study session on Monday Night. I am soo going! Believe it or not, majority of us are coming.. Hehe. The final seems hard because she gave us a lot of terms. Good thing I'm done with my Porfolio (which counts also for our final grade).  Tomorrow, I am schedule to finish my PUA241 assignments (which are A LOT) and concentrate what topic I have to write for my final examination. GEOL120 seems to be easy becaue our examination only covers ONE topic and previous test questions. Thank you. My PHIL225 professor announced this evening that everyone will get an A or a B but he didn't discuss how and who(?). I have faith in him when it comes to grade since he was my PHIL124 professor last semester. DAN104 seems to be easy too because its all about "dance". Common-sense is the key.

PS: I have to sleep early so I can study early. Good luck UNLV students!

Clueless

Writing nothing is harder than writing something because I am so clueless.

Spring Semester is about to end in two weeks.  I am actually both happy and sad. Happy, because I am very focus in my major (Political Science). Sad, because all my Spring Classes are exciting and fun. I will be taking five Political Science classes every morning (no breaks) from Monday to Thursday next semester. The walking distance is no problem because all of my five classes are in the same floor in the same building. Hehe!  The best part is, I have friends in each classes. Wohoo!, we can have lunch or something after my classes. But most of the time, I drive straight home from school so I can rest already.

I cannot predict how easy, fun, or exciting my classes next semester because I haven’t taken it yet and all my older Political Science friends didn’t take it either. Well, except for one (Environmental Policy). According to them, it was A LOT of READING but they actually learned something out of it. Hehe, good thing I have a laptop because I dislike writing notes in a notebook. The lack of time makes my learning slow and my hands hurt easily. Or maybe it is a fact that I am used to bring my laptop in college.

Me + My Laptop = Best friends!

As of now, I am finishing my PUA241 assignment (which I will continue to do tomorrow) and schedule my activities next week.
