Last Day of 2008

Thank you 2008 for being a nice, calm, and adventurous year.

FROM MY PHILOSOPHY 124 CALENDAR: Be the change you want to see the world - Mahatma Gandi (Hinduism)

January 2008 - Second semester of my freshman year in college taught me "how to live" the college life with independence and hard-working manners. College is not easy and it is not a game for people to play with'. It is a serious business.

February 2008 - Ah, it was very relaxing since I have no dates for valentines. Hehe. I am no man-finder right now. With school and other activities why need a date?!

March 2008 - Happy Birthday Mom! :) Nothing much happened to me on March. Just.. Same.. Old.. College.. Drama

April 2008 - Focus too much on College.

May 2008 - In need for a vacation, I was soo furious to end the semester so I can sleep. Hehe. My Classes starts very EARLY in the morning

June 2008 - First Vacation in United States of America because I always go home to the Philippines for summer. Very relaxing actually. I did not spent something I do not need.

July 2008 - Same as "June 2008".. I saved a lot! Most of the time I was in my room watching old videos in my Sony Camera, surfing the net, etc..

August 2008 - School is just around the corner! No! What the heck, being in the house most of the time, I need to reboost my knowledge

September 2008 - Happy Birthday to me and my brother! This is my favorite month because I receive plenty of gifts, text messages, and online messages from friends and relatived. Love you guys. It was a quiet celebration, if you ask me

October 2008 - First time to celebrate halloween without a costume, candies, and scary things. I do not know the reason but I feel that I am "old" for this kind of holidays.. Besides, a person like me? with.. costume.. Haha, OH PLEASE!

November 2008 - First Semester of my sophomore year is coming to an end.. It was fine, a lot of improvement than before.

December 2008 - Christmas! Thank you Mother and Father for the wonderful gifts

HAPPY NEW YEARS EVE!

Merry Christmas

My Parents and I celebrated Christmas very peacefully. No fireworks, parties, nor guest. Just the three of us (my brother is in the Philippines for Christmas and New Year) is already a HUGE party. My Father and I opened our presents from mother and we were very happy for what we got.

As expected, I got a COAH Bag, Shoes, and Wallet. Thanks Mommy! While my Father got office supplies, hehe. How cute! It reminds him how he "miss" working in his company. Ah, do not worry daddy! When holidays is over you can work now. College will not start until the mid-January so I have plenty of time to goof around and sleep late. As if, I do not goof around and sleep late even College starts. Hehe.

I am very thankful for another wonderful Christmas in United States of America. Very peaceful and relaxing comparing to my previous Christmas outside the country. In the Philippines, we do have huge parties in my grandmother's house with fireworks and plenty of guest. So having a peaceful Christmas is hopeless. Hehe. But I do love and miss all my relatives back home. My brother stands as the representative of our family for Chistmas and New Year in the Philippines.

Christmas Eve

A day away from Christmas! Isn't it exciting?

I am so close of opening all my christmas presents from mother and father. My favorite christmas present is from my mother because it is a COACH box; I have no idea if it is a shoe, bag, or wallet.. Ah! I keep telling my mother if I can open it in advance but she refuses. Fine, I can wait for a day now. Hehe! I love you mother.

My father did not tell me what he has for me but I careless because spenting time with him is enough. I do not need any material thing from him. Yes yes, I am a daddy's girl.

Actually, I do not need any material thing coming from my parents. I just want to spend more time with them since I am close to college graduation. Speaking of material thing, I phoned my grandmother from the Philppines and told her that I do not want anything from her either. I want her to travel to United States of America so she can spend time with us. And YES, all the San Jose Family immigrated in United States.

There is no need for us to "officially" come back to the Philippines since there is no more personal business to take care of'. I only vacationed there because I want to meet Philippine politicians, travel around the country (mostly the visayas area), and spend time with my relatives and very-close friends. Why waste money for useless traveling right? I rather explore more countries than come back for no reason at all. I do love the Philippines but coming back for no reason is useless.

Anyways, going back to my topic. Christmas Eve is special because we have time for preparation, bonding, relaxation for christmas.

I phoned my cousins, Camille and Bea, and they told me they're preparing their own Christmas party at home and later will spend it somewhere else. That is so nice. I remember spending Christmas with them at my grandmother's house.

Before I go, I want to say Happy Christmas Eve!

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

Since 2003 there is no snow ever poured down Las Vegas except in the mountains.

While asleep, my father woke me up and announced "It's snowing!". I ignored him and went back to sleep (blame it to the late internet surfing). Around 12pm, my eyes finally opened and my body rose from my bed so I walk towards the window to see if its really snowing.. Gosh, it does!

Without any hesistation, I went downstairs to see a better view. Our backyard was covered in snow. When my father arrived from work, we played and took pictures with my mother. We played like kids because its been five years since we saw snow in our backyard.

I am wearing my Pajamas and White Jacket.

Unfortunately, my brother is in the Philippines so.. AH! Wrong timing,I wish you were here to witness the snow. But I am pretty sure he's having a great time in the Philippines.

Break

My winter break started yesterday, ahh.. Finally! I need a mega-break from college.

For once, my Windows Calendar has no schedule for me except for College Payments, Chores, and Dentist Appointments. While on break, I want to finish reading "The Painted Kiss" By Elizabeth Hickey. This book is in my shelves for a year now and I did not even read one page. So sad. However, I finish reading the Lemony Snicket's 1-13 collection, a book a day. Whoever is reading my blog, I highly recommend you to read Lemony Snicket's collection.

Nothing much happened to me yesterday and today. Most of the time, I was resting, surfing the net,and "bugging" my brother. Hehe. It's nice to have a wonderful bond with him. So funny and cool.  He reminds me how annoying I was before. Oh well, that's what little sisters and brothers do right?

I have no idea what to do in my winter break for now.. So better end this entry now.

WeekEND

Weekend is about to end now.

I cannot believe how fast the time is, it's already sunday!

I need to review for my Social Welfare exam later. Yesterday was my "relaxation" day. I always tend to keep saturdays away from college work. So, what do I do on saturdays? Simple.. Lock myself in my room and meditate! I usually listen to soft music and surf the internet (update my friendster, posterous, and facebook accounts). Relaxation makes me happy! It lowers my stress, thinking, and whatsoever drama in the whole week. Don't worry I had no drama this week. Drama is not my thing, I rather face it right away than ignore it. One way to solve a drama is confront it. I never had a drama for a while so I could not give you a good example. But confronting a drama is one way to tell what a person did wrong and find a way to resolve it.

Moving on...

Speaking of relaxation, we have no school on tuesday because it's Veterans Day! I hope my Philosophy teacher will not schedule a test on wednesday because I want to spend my tuesday with my family. I miss going to the mall or eat in a restaurant with them. Please please please no test after Veterans Day!

I have a Social Welfare test tomorrow. I better sleep now and review later.

First Entry

I miss blogging so much!

I use to have Xanga and Vox for blogging purposes but I deleted it since I can't find time to write anymore. However, my love for technology brings me back to the blogging world!

My life is neutral right now; I just finish doing my Social Welfare and Philosophy homeworks. Tomorrow I schedule myself to study for Social Welfare test on November 10-12. But I doubt it because my parents and I will probably spend time in the mall or something. I miss spending time with my parents because our priorities keep us apart. I have school and they have work. Well, I guess thats normal for a family right? Whatever happens.. I love them so much!

As of now, I am laying in bed using in my laptop to type this entry, wireless mouse in the right side, iPhone 3G in the left side, and TV in the front. Hehe. It's nice typing while watching TV. And its very nice to know everybody in the world does it.
