RELAXation, here I come!

I'm suppose to do my PSC411D assignment today but re-schedule it tomorrow because I want to relax. Hehe, or is it procrastination? Umm, SECRET. I am not a 24/7 college student so it's acceptional to schedule a day of relaxation. *smiles*

It's only 1pm and I am gluing myself to the internet already. Argh! I don't want to go out to the mall because there's a chance I might spend my money there. I will probably walk in the park with my dog or run around the village. It is always nice to be productive in a day like this: the sun is so bright, wonderful weather, in-a-good-mood, etc. Why not spend all day in my room gluing myself in the internet if I can jog around and be productive?

I try my best to keep away college from home at least a day because I want to relax soo bad and be a baby!

I am the youngest and only girl in the family which qualify me to be a baby. Hehe, actually.. A lot of my relatives and close friends calls me "baby" Thanks and love you guys!

Being a baby, in terms of family matter, are being loved, nurture, complimented as being "cute" (HAHA), and sweet. I do want to achieve these when I'm not in college mode. Usually, when I am so concentrated in college I have no time for my family (which they understands). For that, I want to be with them (eating together in the dining table, watch movies, spend sundays, and simply.. bond). *smiles*

Being a baby, in terms of physical and emotional matter, are thinking without any outcome, doesn't worry about "tomorrow", fun, relax, SLEEP, etc etc etc.  I do want achieve these terms because I don't want to stress out on something I shouldn't. Also, when it comes to college work, it's all about time management. As of now, I schedule a day (usually thursdays) to destress myself and not think of work AT LONG. Unless, it's really important and I have to scratch my thrusday relaxation. *smiles*

When asked what they do first thing in the morning some answered "check my cellphone". I, in the other hand, have two of them. Usually, I checked my Nokia E71x (left) first because it's my primary cellphone while iPhone 3G (right) is for my business, news, and financial, MUSIC and social networks purposes (you can see the Facebook Application in last second row).  When I'm out of the house, I always bring my Nokia E71x because it has a sim card.. Aww, poor iPhone 3G.. BUT, when I get home, I play with it all day. Hehe.

If you asked me which one is the best? I will be very bias with Nokia E71x because it's my primary and personal cellphone.. I have my FULL schedule, contacts, twitter, etc in there.. OH, don't forget the keypads. In short, I won't function without it. However, it has a downside because all my music and important applications are in my iPhone 3G. If Nokia has the same application in their units then I won't have a problem.

Funny thing is, everytime I wake up in the morning to eat breakfast and prepare for college. I always have my Nokia E71x on the dinning table (which makes my family wonders why I have it in the hand, hehe.. (even they don't personally asked me)) Well, I read AP news there *smiles*.  

I am glad to have them in my technology life because each of them have great functions and hopefully, my Nokia E71x will have the same applications like the iPhone 3G *laughs*.. Nokia, I am waiting..

Thank you college for not giving me any assignments since yesterday.. Been resting. Wohoo! however, in a few weeks its TORTURE because we have midterms coming which means I have to catch up with ALL of my readings this weekend (not on saturday because it's my birthday). *smiles*

My birthday will be very simple: just a quiet day with my family. No need for a party, reunions, or what-so-ever. Just being with three important people in my life (my dad, mom, and brother) I am very very happy and satisfied. *another smile* who need material things if it can't replace those people I love the most right?

It is so hard to write an entry while listenig in class. Grrr, whoever does it.. I admire you! Haha. It is probably a fact that I am taking 400+ level classes and it requires good listening skills. Again, I apologize for typing like this because I am MULTI-TASKING in my environmental policy class while typing this entry.

I just want to experience how to multi-task in class. Don't worry, our topic today doesn't harm my learnings because its a summary of our lesson last time (which I know *smiles*).

It's been weeks since I updated this blog. Sorry, been productive in college.

Even I use my laptop everyday I am not consistent on updating my blog because I only "use" this for college purposes (well, when I'm at home I use it for entertainment purposes). One "main" purpose of a blog is to update what's going on with someone's life. Well, most of my life circles in college, which is.. Argh! "boring". I do not want this blog to be college updates most of the time so.. sorry.

However, next week I will update this blog because it's my brother's birthday on friday! Wohoo! We will send it in a penthouse suite in Bellagio Hotel. Hehe. I really hope we will have fun!

One hour nap is the best thing I can do right now because of my productive day. Will share to you my tuesday schedule later.

So, here goes..

• 8:00-8:30am - wake up, prepare things for college, pick my outfit, and eat breakfast
• 8:30-9:00am - personal hygience such as brushing my teeth, putting morning lotion, dress up, etc.
• 9:00am - leaves the house
• 9:30am - arrives in college
• 9:30-10am - review, read, or relax before my first class
• 10:00-11:15am - first class
• 11:30am -12:45pm - second class
• 1:00-2:15pm - third class
• 2:20pm - leave college
• 2:20-2:50pm - eat lunch in the car (find fastfood)
• 3:00pm - arrives home
• 3:00-4:00pm - check online messages (twitter, facebook, yahoo mail and other social networks)
• 4:00-5:00pm - one hour nap
• 5:00 pm - depending on what time I finish studying
• 9:18pm - eat dinner, priorities personal emails, rest and schedule things tomorrow.

I survived! Wohoo. Junior year is hard especially if you didn't do your assignments.

Three out of my five classes are located in the same room in the same building. Gosh, thank you! No need to move a seat or something. While others are located in the other building (which is just minutes away). As a Junior, all my classes are related to my major. For me, PSC405M (Pacific Rim and World Politics) is a very challenging course because we have weekly readings (which I finished today and will resume on monday). I do have a feeling we have a SURPISE quiz on tuesday because our professor told us to read this article many times. Hehe, I already read it twice this week. Other than that, my other classes are a.o.k. I also reliable too much on my laptop. I mean BIG TIME! because all my notes are typed! :) Hehe. I am also happy to say many of my high school bestfriends are studying in college. I met with one of them the first day and shared my experience being a freshman. I told them to enjoy their first year and definitely study hard.

I also have many plans this semester such as joining clubs and be active in public service inside the school. I am only an undergraduate once and I want to take advantage of it. Oh well, whatever happens I will make the most of it and enjoy as much as I can.

On August 24, I am officially a third year college student. Gosh, can't believe my college life is almost over. :( Four years really flies by. Oh well, whatever happens I try my best to make most of it. My summer is very relaxing, I did tons of stuff such as my internship (which will end this week), volunteer work, and joined an environmentalist group. I will still continue doing these stuff when college starts so this semester is very productive for me. Not to mention, many of my high school friends are joining me in "the" college life. Definitely meet with them soon.

As of now, I tend to relax more because I finish my main goals this summer which is saving. WOHOO! Time to celebrate later. Hehe. AND I already bought my books so no need to line up when college starts next week. Hehe. Am I so happy in this entry? If so, yes.. I am because I can't wait to focus on my major and use it to serve others. I also promise myself to join college groups this semester and WILL try to make more friends. All my classes are in the morning so there's no problem meeting with someone on the afternoon right? :)

August reminds me of college! Geesh, only 23 days left of summer..

I can't believe time is so quick yet I am eager to go back to college. Maybe it is a fact I love learning. The answer.. YES. I do love learning something in college so I can apply it in the future. I want to learn about the environment, politics, etc etc etc. Not to mention, all my five classes are related to my major. Wohoo! I can't also believe I am NEAR to graduation. Nah.. I think I'll stop right there. I don't want to predict my future yet because I want to enjoy life as much as possible.

As college nears, I also organize my schedule to give time for outside activities. I want to join an environment group on September, hang out with my friends monthy, and focus on my internship while in college. I love to work (I really do). I love public service and this is what I want to do. Regardless of the salary, I don't care. I rather do something I want than do something will not make me happy. College is one step to help me achieve my goals. I am an environmentalist and will study about environment policy on August 24. I am serious when it comes to my future and I can set aside things just to achieve it. I know I know, what an achiever! Hehe.

As of now, I want to enjoy what is left of my summer.

Three week of my three month summer is very relaxing. I can't believe I nearly accomplish my summer goal which is to SAVE. Wohoo, thanks to my motto: Don't buy things if needed. If not, I will buy random stuff for no reason. I also want to thank my gadgets because without them I won't have fun at home (iPhone 3G and Sony Vaio TZ). Speaking of gadgets, without these two.. I won't function very well in college because I use my iPhone 3G for my daily schedules and communications while Sony Vaio TZ is for my note-taking. I rarely write in paper *smiles*.

So far, my summer is great! I never been relax and managable. My work is getting to be more professional because I and fellow co-workers are very comfortable with each other. And plus, they keep me young! Haha. I will definitely miss them when Fall Semester starts. Speaking of Fall Semester, I am A.O.K with my schedule and many of my high school friends are enrolling in UNLV. Wohoo! More friends!! I will definitely meet with them when college starts. :))

Sometimes I feel summer is too fast and too slow... Too fast because I'm enjoying it and too slow because I'm bored. Haha. Whatever it is, I tend to have fun and optimistic all the time.

Third month of my summer vacation. Wohoo! This is when I decide where I will spend my summer.

I am glad my parents told me we will go somewhere. Where it is? Secret. I tend to keep away my family affair away from public life unless I decide to post it on twitter and here. Do not worry, I am sure we will have fun. I also guarantee myself to put my money on budget because I am close to my "money" goal. There is only one month left of summer vacation so why break my goal?

It's only second week of July so I want to make most of it. Last month, I was so into my internship and haven't been to the mall. However, I manage to watch great movies such as Angels and Demons, UP, The Hangover and Transformers 2. Not to mention, Harry Potter will release next week. Hehe, good luck to us because I'm sure the movie theater is full again.

Two days ago was 4th of July and I am happy to say that it is my first time to bring my dog with me. Some people ask if my dog is scared of the fireworks because their dogs are. I replied "No, he is well-trained to handle this kind of stuff". While watching the fireworks, my dog is just sitting next to me. Nice "baby!". Thank you. Because of that, I manage to take good picture (which is located in my twitter).  

This month is soo hot too! I went outside to grab something and wow.. I have to run back because my skin is not used to hot temperatures. Grr! I need more long sleeves in my closet.

I won't deny the fact I am a daddy's girl. My father use to take care of me when I was a baby, since then.. Our bond grew. 

Through the years, I witness him age his main attitude (love and nurture) didn't change. He is still the same man who took care of me when I was a baby: kisses me before I sleep, greets me "good morning" everyday, and ask how my school was. Truly, I am very bless to have him. He will always be mine and I will always be his. There are times he put us first than himself. For that I love him unconditionally, I can make decisions rejecting something just for him. That's how I love my father so much. Not to mention, I am named "Roxanne" because his name also starts with an "R". His hardwork and dedication to provide us with a better life and education is priceless: no reward or medal can replace it. He fulfilled his duty as a father.

He is also funny (referring to my second picture). He never fails to put a good (and sometimes, a bad) joke on me but as a daddy's girl, I laugh. Hehe. Thanks daddy! I appreciate the bad jokes. It's a father's "extra" job to tell jokes right? haha. He is the best! He taught me how to save and balance my money in the bank. Which I really admire from him because he has discipline. He told me to use my money in good terms and if I really need it. Another thanks daddy! My brother and I always tease him how youthful he is comparing to us. He is more active in the house, can pull some jokes, and act like a kid (which is soo good!). While my brother and I are busy in school, he could just go straight to our rooms and entertain us. Nice one daddy! He sings without a tone which makes it more funny. Haha, I love you daddy!

He is the many reasons why I am here right now in the world. Thank you daddy for raising me as a discipline and well-balanced girl. I will definitely make you proud in my workforce. Everything of me is because of him. Celebrating this day makes it more important because I recognize my father more as a daddy who worked hard for more than 21 years just to provide me and my brother that life he wants for us. As the only daughter in the family, I recognize that effort more. Happy Father's Day Daddy! We love you
